For the debut of TCGplayer's walkthroughs, I am playing an updated version of the UW control deck that I wrote about last week. These updates provide a lot more control over the current metagame...
I'd like to take today to consolidate what I think are some beneficial thoughts about the current environment all in one place, so you can quickly absorb them and put them to work. First up, Lightsworn is dead.
Dreamblade takes the “movement and positioning” factor that makes chess so interesting, and adds in a degree of variation and randomness found in other more “modern” games....
So how are you going to protect Deadpool? Do you have to play that card that so many people talk about constantly, Pathetic Attempt? Nah, no need. Instead just call your not so friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
In this week's instalment of Canadien Bacon, we are going to continue talking about “Rogue Decks” of 1st Edition. We're switching gears and playing the aggro game.
There will be multiple tournaments held throughout the United States at select hobby retailers culminating in the National Championships to be held at the Gen Con Indy to take place in Indiana on August 7th and 8th.
Play testing, like development, consists of steps. In fact, both consist of five steps. Each step is vital to the deck, and must be taken with thought and care. We need to know how to play test. Properly.
